| Type 26

Type 26 is our refined reinterpretation of the Honda CB750 Nighthawk—designed with the intention of creating a motorcycle equivalent to a dress watch. Something elegant, purposeful and reserved for the rides that matter. Inspired by classic Honda forms and the engineering spirit of the Britten, the Type 26 blends neo-retro simplicity with race-influenced proportions and a clean, modern surfacing language.

The silhouette is built around a completely new in-house subframe, supporting a compact monobody upper that keeps the lines tight and uninterrupted. At the rear, the transformation is dramatic: the stock setup is replaced with an MV Agusta single-sided swingarm, matched to Kineo wheels and tied together with a custom single-shock frame mount. The front uses a GSX-R fork assembly, giving the bike a sharper, more precise stance.

Lighting remains subtle and fully integrated. A JW Speaker 100 mm headlight sits up front, while the indicators and rear light are housed in custom 3D-printed units, designed specifically for the Type 26 to maintain its minimal, modern character.

The engine is completely rebuilt with new components and runs on Mikuni RS34 flatslide carbs, giving it a lively, immediate response. The bike breathes through a fully sand-bent titanium 4-1 exhaust system with an in-house-made titanium cone lightweight, resonant and delivering what is arguably the best sound we’ve achieved on any Auto Fabrica build.

Electronics are fully modernised with a Motogadget m-Unit and m-Lock ignition, supported by a custom loom and hidden routing throughout.

Type 26 rides with precision and clarity, combining modern chassis behaviour with a visceral engine character and an unmistakably addictive soundtrack. A distilled, race-influenced expression of the CB750—crafted with refined simplicity and Auto Fabrica’s signature execution.
